Study, then command.
Arrian is a holding company. We have invested in broken situations for a long time, across insurance, manufacturing, hospitality, real estate and services, in the United States, Turkey and Europe. For most of that time the work was the same: find the company whose problem is structure, not people. Buy it when nobody else will. Fix the structure. Hold.
Arrian is that practice given a name, a permanent balance sheet and an engineering team. We are small on purpose. We do not raise funds with clocks on them. We do not take fees for advice. We take ownership, and we stay.
The name is Arrian of Nicomedia, born in what is now Turkey, who wrote down the teachings of Epictetus so that they survived, then governed a Roman province and wrote the history of Alexander. Study, then command. That is the order we work in.
The mark is Anzû, the lion-headed eagle of Mesopotamia, who seized the tablet on which every fate was written.
